casting with plaster

Well today’s work didn’t go to plan, i ran out of plaster of Paris and thought I could use finishing plaster. The results were not good. The curing time was extremely slow. The only good point was the colour (earthenware, sandy and gritty). This was disappointing, however it showed that the results are dependent on the materials used. Like the plaster it was messy and felt it was harder to manipulate, so slowed the process of working down.
