Exercise 2 – Drawing on the printing plate

I chose to use the wrapped spoon as my inspiration as the shape was simple and easy to replicate. I felt all the prints worked well in composition and used the mistake from early experiments by wetting the Gelli plate first. I wanted to create negative and positive images and feel that this was achieved.

                      

                     

                                

                                  

                                  

The block colour lacked inspiration partially due to no defined marks.
